Two files: flash and EEPROM

The immobilizer and the VIN in a DSG unit are not held in a single slice of the dump. The form accepts both files from one readout. Flash alone, or a random EEPROM from the catalog, does not make the pair.

How catalog files are labelled

A file page may list flash, internal EEPROM, external EEPROM or a full backup. That is the contents of that database set. Immo Off still uses the readout of the unit on the bench.

A full backup

If the tool produced one archive, you still need the separate flash and EEPROM the form asks for. The site does not accept an arbitrary archive in their place.

After payment

You get a result archive, for 30 €. Write it back to the same unit the source files came from.

Where to do this

A firmware file from the catalog or by VIN costs 20 €. Immo Off together with the VIN change costs 30 €. The download button appears after payment and a copy is sent by email. If that version is not in the database, there is no button. Before writing, match the software number and version to the unit label.

Short answers

Are internal and external EEPROM the same?

No. The file page label shows which part is in that set. The Immo Off form takes the EEPROM from your readout of this unit.

Is a catalog file enough?

No.

What do I pay?

30 €.
