Matching by software number
The software number is the most precise path when the unit still identifies itself, or the number survives in an old dump. Enter it in full in the catalog. If you know the version, add it after a space: that opens one page when the match is unique.
The start of the number
0AM, 0CW, 02E, 0D9, 0GC, 0BH, 0B5, 0CJ and 0AW narrow the list. That is not enough to write: you need the full number and the version.
A number from someone else's advert
Do not take it only because the car model matches. Two Golfs can have different gearbox software.
Payment
When the page shows your number and version, the file costs 20 €.
Where to do this
A firmware file from the catalog or by VIN costs 20 €. Immo Off together with the VIN change costs 30 €. The download button appears after payment and a copy is sent by email. If that version is not in the database, there is no button. Before writing, match the software number and version to the unit label.
